Updated Winter Guidelines for Sports

Lamoni Community,

New game ticket procedures for Lamoni Community School district:

Per the Governor’s updated guidelines that came out January 7, 2021, the following guidelines will be adopted by the Lamoni Community School District for home basketball games of any level:

1.  Facemasks will continue to be a requirement and MUST be worn properly at all times while in the gym, hallways and the commons area.  If you cannot wear your mask properly, you will be asked to leave the gym and school buildings.  Remember our goal remains focused on continuing to play and to play safely.

2. We will follow the Governor’s proclamation from January 7th, 2021, and we will no longer be limiting the number of spectators at our Varsity, JV and Middle School basketball games.  Social distancing of 6 feet apart in the stands is still required along with sitting in household groups if possible.

3.   Admission for each game will go back to $5.00 for Varsity and $3.00 for JV and Middle School games, as we have had in the past.

4..   No food or drink will be allowed in the gym at any time unless you are a player, coach or game administration.

5.     IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL OR HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OF COVID, PLEASE STAY HOME.

If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact me at jhampton@lamonischools.org.  I have included the January 7, 2021 proclamation here:  https://governor.iowa.gov/sites/default/files/documents/Public%20Health%20Proclamation%20-%202021.01.07.pdf?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery
