Demon Happenings
On Monday, November 8, 2016, there were multiple events taking place at the Lamoni High School. The first of the things that happened was the beginning of the basketball season.
Another event that took place Monday was the Fall Sports Banquet. This is a time when the Lamoni Boosters Club puts on a potluck dinner for all the families of athletes that participated in summer and fall sports. There was a great turnout for the Banquet and hardly any food was left. The Lamoni High School also participated in a puppet show about the Aztec myth of how the earth was created. The play portrayed two brothers who learned a lesson about envy.
Besides basketball, there were several other sports that started this week. These sports include Middle School Basketball, and Middle School Wrestling. On Thursday, the bowling team had their first practice. They all had fun and are ready for the season.
Our Lamoni Middle School/High School put on Alice @ Wonderland. They put on two performances which were both great and were received well by the audience. These performances took place at the Shaw Center on Friday and Saturday night.
