In recognition of 9/11 Day of Service, AmeriCorps Seniors and AmeriCorps Youth Launch partnered with Lamoni Middle School students for a clean-up project at Central Park. Volunteers Scott Roberts and Leta Stevens along with Sara Ricard from the AmeriCorps Alley program assisted with the clean-up. Each teacher took a group and divided the students into areas. Students swept the Gazebo, pulled weeds, raked, and picked up trash and large sticks. In just a short time, students had the park looking great! Thanks for all the help MS students. Way to show great Demon and community PRIDE!
