On Monday, November 22, Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg and the CEO of the Food Bank of Iowa, Michelle Book, visited our school to see our food pantry and find out more about its operation.  The Food Bank of Iowa donates the food we receive in our pantry, and they have also provided a brand new freezer this year through grant funding.  Both Gregg and Book were very impressed with our operation as well as the number of families we have been able to serve so far this year.  We are all very thankful for our food pantry this year!
