4th Grade Chain Reactions
Last Monday and Tuesday Mrs. Burke's 4th grade class studied chain reactions. They started by looking at cause and effect with simple one-step reactions. They increased the steps until they watched and understood Rube Goldberg Machines. They were then tasked with creating a minimum two-step reaction to accomplish a task. Here are some pictures from their work. Not all of their machines worked, but the students benefited from that as well. They learned that sometimes the process of learning is messy and we make mistakes, but that is okay, as long as we learn from them. Great job 4th Grade and Mrs. Burke! Way to show Demon PRIDE!
