Malori Leonard committed to further her education at Southwestern Community College where she will continue to play volleyball under Coach Camp and Kucza. Malori is thankful for the support and tough love Laura and MaryAnne gave her while coaching her during high school. She is excited to take the next step, Go Spartans!

District Champions

Last night your Demon Volleyball Team was crowned District Champions after defeating Southeast Warren in a tough five set match. The scores were as follows: 17-25 W, 26-24 L, 25-21 L, 22-25 W, and 10-15 W. The Demons showed great perseverance by coming from behind to win out. Cameron led the team in assists with 35, Abby tallied 32 kills, Reese recorded three blocks, and Taylor recorded three Aces. The Demons play Holy Trinity Catholic tomorrow, October 27th at 7:00 PM in Ottumwa for the Region 8 . . .

Demons Sweep Mount Ayr

Last night your Lamoni Demons swept Mount Ayr in the Region 8 Quarterfinal. The Demons won 25-14, 25-16, and 25-13. Cameron had 21 assists and Abby recorded eight kills and four blocks. Reese recorded four blocks while Emaliegh, Reese, and Malori each recorded an ace. The Demons are currently 28-4 on the year and will play Southeast Warren on October 25, at 7:00 PM at Lamoni. Last Monday the Lamoni Cross Country Team competed at the Greenfield Meet. Demons Fall to ACA

Last night the Lamoni Demons lost to Ankeny Christian Academy in volleyball at both the varsity and freshman level. Varsity had some very hard fought sets, but were just edged out. Abby Martin had 27 kills, Cameron Martin had 23 assists, Reese Potter had two blocks, and Taylor Henson had one ace. The scores were as follows: Varsity: 22-25, 25-19, 21-25, and 20-25 JV: 21-18 and 21-11 Freshman: 21-18, 19-21, and 4-15

Volleyball Wins Again

The 11th ranked Lamoni Demon Volleyball Team defeated Moravia last night at both the varsity and junior varsity levels. Varsity won their sets 25-6, 25-16, and 25-7. JV won their sets 25-10 and 25-15. Thursday night Lamoni takes on 6th ranked Ankeny Christian Academy here at home starting at 7:00 PM. It is also Senior Night and a Black-Out Night so come support the team and wear black. Go Demons!

Demons Win Twice

Last night the Lamoni Demons defeated both Orient-Macksburg and Twin Cedars in volleyball. They beat both Orient and Twin Cedars in two sets with scores of 25-9, 25-12 and 25-21, 25-20 respectively. Malori Leonard had three aces on the night. Cameron Martin recorded 14 assists. Reese Potter had three blocks. Abby Martin recorded 18 kills. The Demons are currently ranked 12th in the state and are 17-0 on the year. Keep up the great work ladies! Way to show Demon PRIDE!

Demon Volleyball Win Mount Ayr Tournament

HS Demon Volleyball played in the Mount Ayr Tournament Saturday, September 18.  They started off the day taking on Wayne and won in two, 21-8 in the first and 21-12 in the second.  After defeating Wayne the Demon Volleyball team next took on Interstate 35 and were able to defeat them in two as well, 21-5 in the first and 21-14 in the second.  Next on the bracket was Mount Ayr.  The Volleyball team was able to defeat the Raiders in two, 21-10 and 21-11.  This set the Demons up . . .

HS Demon Volleyball Wins Again

Last night your 12th ranked Lamoni Demons defeated the Mormon Trail Saints at both the Varsity and Freshman levels with Junior Varisty coming up just short. Malori Leonard had seven aces on the night. Reese Potter, who is currently leading Class 1A in blocks, had six total blocks. Abby Martin had 18 kills while Cameron Martin got 29 assists. The Demons currently have a 10-0 record. The scores from last night were: Varsity: 25-6, 25-6, and 25-9 JV: 21-8, 12-21, and 9-15 Freshman: 21-8 and 22-20 Great job Demons!

Demon Volleyball Defeats Leon

Last night the Lamoni Demon Volleyball Team defeated the Leon Cardinals at all three levels. The varsity team is still undefeated and is now ranked 12th in the state moving up from 14th last week. Abby Martin led the team in kills with 18 followed closely by Reese Potter who had 14. Reese also had two blocks and Malori Leonard had one. Demon Volleyball Keeps Rolling

Last night your 14th ranked Lamoni Demons defeated Orient-Macksburg in three sets. Junior Varsity won their match in two sets. The Demons were led in kills by Abby Martin with 14, Cameron Martin led the team in assists with ten, and Reese Potter led the way in blocks and aces by getting two and ten respectively.
