Inspiring Writers
January 20 was an exciting day for Lamoni Elementary students who got to meet a real Iowa author!!! Coach Sloth came to the library and told us about how exciting it is to write books. There were lots of ooohs and aaahs as Coach performed a magic trick using his newest book “Coach Sloth’s Magic Coloring book. Some of the students even had the chance to be actors as he retold the story of Hank the Bully! In the afternoon, every child got to choose one of Coach Sloth’s books to keep. He even signed their book! Thank you Coach Sloth for coming to Lamoni and encouraging us to become writers!!!
