Lamoni Students Attend ABC Career Fair in Des Moines
Lamoni FFA members traveled to the High School Craft Championship and Interactive Career Fair on Friday, December 1st at the Varied Industries Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds. This is a great opportunity for high school students to meet companies and experience hands-on booths while watching over 200 high school students compete in Welding, Carpentry, and Electrical, as well as 40 of our top apprentices compete in HVAC, Plumbing and Sheet Metal competition to head to Nationals.
The Lamoni FFA members said they were glad they got to talk to the people who had the jobs the kids were inserted in doing in the future.
