HS Girls Track Season Recap
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Lamoni girls track team concluded the '24 season at the state qualifying meet in Mt. Ayr on May 9th. The team gave it their best effort to qualify for the state meet. We had some personal best efforts in the 800 with Lauren Olson and the 1500 for Haelyn Olson!
We are losing two seniors, Emaleigh Pierschbacher and Alley Goodman, who will be missed next season. Both seniors contributed greatly to point scoring throughout the season. At the conference track meet, Emaleigh finished third in the 200, 400, Sprint Medley, and anchored the winning 4X100 relay. Alley was also on the Sprint Medley, 4X100, anchored the 4X200, and was on the second place finishing Shuttle Hurdle relay at conference. Thank you seniors for your efforts this season and good luck in your future endeavors!
We will return the majority of our team and will gain some talented freshmen next year. The future looks bright for Demon track and field!
