Demons Compete at Leon Track Meet
Last Tuesday, the Boys Track Team competed in the track meet at Leon. The team finished 5th overall with 67 points out of the 11 teams that participated in the track meet. Matthew Patience won the 400 Meter dash with a time of 57.20. Brayden Olson won the shot put with a throw of 41 ft-08 inches. Brayden Olson had a career best throw in the Discus with a throw of 126ft-11 inches and currently sits 21st in the state in the Discus in Class 1A. Ambrose Savage threw a career best in the discus as well, throwing 121ft- 5 inches and currently sits 30th in the state in Class 1A and is also the top freshman discus thrower in Class 1A at the moment. The Demon track will run next Tuesday at Melcher-Dallas and next Thursday at Afton. Both meets are co-ed meets for Demons!
