FFA Banquet
Last week the Lamoni FFA held their annual banquet. Good food and good times were had by all. Awards were handed out to many of the members. The Star Greenhand Award went to Ambrose Savage. The Outstanding Senior Award went to Javin Stevenson. Hagen Phelps, Javin Stevenson, and Hailey Burton will be getting their Iowa FFA Degree at the State Convention in Ames on April 12th. The BTC Bank sponsored sophomore SAE scholarship was awarded to Creyton Ogier. The Freshman were awarded their Greenhand Degrees. The 8th-grade members were awarded their Discovery Degrees. The Honorary Chapter Degree was awarded to Hamaker Farms this year. The appreciation award went to BTC Bank, Beth Elliot and Pizza Hut, Nu ETA sorority, and Stevenson Farms. The new 2022-2023 Lamoni FFA Chapter Officer Team is Hailey Burton as President, Heiatua Paredes as Vice President, Reporters are Peyton Davis and Addyson Lindgren, Emaleigh Piershbacher as Student Advisor, Kameryn Phelps as Secretary, Ambrose Savage as Sentinel, and Jaymie Tull is Treasurer.
