Lamoni FBLA Shines at Record-Breaking State Conference

Earlier this week, seven dedicated students from the Lamoni FBLA chapter traveled to compete in the Iowa FBLA State Leadership Conference. This year’s event was one for the history books, boasting the largest turnout in the organization's history with over 1,200 students from across the state.

Despite the stiff competition, Lamoni students proved they belong among the best in Iowa. The chapter brought home several top-ten honors, highlighted by Ava Courtney, who secured a 2nd place finish in Public Administration.

Individual Results:

  • Ava Courtney: 2nd Place, Public Administration

  • Quenton Kerns: 7th Place, Customer Service

  • Nora Potter: 9th Place, Intro to Business & 10th Place, Organizational Leadership

The chapter was represented by a talented group of qualifiers including Landry Johnson, Wyatt Waetzig, Quenton Kerns, Ava Courtney, Macie Jeanes, Nora Potter, and Allyson Martin.

Congratulations to all our competitors on a successful week of networking, learning, and competing! We are proud of your hard work and the professional way you represented the Lamoni community.
