Week One Done
It is hard to believe week one is done! The kids were so amazingly patient this week as we worked out our new routines and procedures for second grade. They seemed to jump right into "school" and worked hard. We are taking as many mask breaks as possible, but the kids are doing a nice job of keeping them on. The school supplied a water bottle for every student and we use them all day long. I will bring them home once or twice a week to wash them - they are not dishwasher safe. :(

As I am writing names of the new students that will be walking through the doors in just a few days, I am getting so very excited! I know there are lots of uncertain things that are happening in the world. Just know that school is a place where we can figure things out! I am thinking of all my students, the ones who are coming into our classroom this year and the ones I have taught and learned from before. I am thinking of you all.
