The Lamoni CSD Technology Department is responsible for the maintaining a system within the district that allows for safe and robust learning for the 21st century.  This includes maintaining and expanding infrastructure, maintaining and distributing machines, providing support and access to software, and more. 

Lamoni CSD is a 1:1 district with Chromebooks in grades 2-12 and iPads and Android tablets in grades K-1st.  Students at the High School and Middle School level (6-12) are allowed to take home their Chromebooks and use them for school purposes whenever needed.

Google Workspace for Education (formerly G-Suite for Education), is utilized throughout the district. This platform provides a seamless set of tools to allow teachers and students enhancing and personalizing their educational experience.  Google Workspace for Education also provides the district the ability to meet 21st Century learning goals of problem-solving, collaboration, and presenting to a wide audience.  These skills help students become successful moving forward throughout their academic and future careers.  A vast majority of our staff are also Google Certified Educators.
